Two botanical gardens and the Sukkulentensammlung (succulent collection) offer a lively flora in Zurich, where science and aesthetics blend harmoniously.
This photo series captures the aesthetics of the flora, fauna, show houses and their surroundings. It was created in 2022 and is constantly being expanded.

The Old Botanical Garden lies In the middle of the city center of Zurich. It was established in 1837 and today impresses with its collection of exotic and old trees.
The octagonal palm house made of cast iron was built in 1877, replacing a predecessor made of wood and glass.

Since 1931 the Zurich Sukkulentensammlung (Succulent Collection) has housed one of the largest and most important special collections of succulent plants . Succulents are plants from dry areas that store water.
